The panels open like the pages of a catalogue: each piece of furniture is shown large, in the light of Léonard Oliviéro's photographs.
Joints, oak grain, finishes: the layout alternates close-ups and wide shots to tell the craftsmanship behind each piece.

Hautbois handcrafts solid French oak furniture in Bruges, near Bordeaux. For its website, I designed the web design (UI), the user experience (UX) and the interactions, building on the visual identity created by Studio OUAM. The challenge: translate the brand's world into a fluid, immersive web language, without ever overshadowing the furniture.
The interactive panels recall the tactile feel of flipping through a catalogue: each piece opens up large, in the light of the photographs by Léonard Oliviéro. The animations stay gentle and follow the pace of reading, leaving time to look.
The site puts the material first: large visuals, elegant typography and a warm palette drawn from the oak and the photographed interiors. Bedside tables, consoles, writing desks or shelves: the layout alternates close-ups of joints, grain and finishes with wider views, to tell the craftsmanship behind each piece.
The catalogue comes down to a few numbered pieces, from bedside table 001 to console 005. Each has its own page, with dimensions, making details (dovetail runners, matte oil finish) and photographs; a catalogue request by email and a simple contact page round off the visit.
The project was selected in MaxiBestOf's "Crème de la Crème" picks.
